Liebherr produces a comprehensive range of machines for the earthmoving industry, including hydraulic excavators, crawler/dragline cranes, crawler dozers and loaders, wheel loaders and dump trucks. The high level of quality that Liebherr demands from its products is guaranteed thanks to the fact that, among other measures, most of the main assemblies it uses are of its own construction. Thus, the entire drive and control technology, which encompasses the product groups consisting of the diesel engine, hydraulics and transmission, are developed and manufactured in-house by Liebherr.

Takeuchi Mfg. Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Akio Takeuchi in 1963. Since then, the company has been a world leading manufacturer of construction equipment such as compact hydraulic excavators and crawler loaders. Paying attention to the particular requirements of the equipment owners is the motivation of Mr. Takeuchi and the whole company. Takeuchi has been able to lead the industry in developing new products. Takeuchi developed the world's first compact excavator in 1971. In 1986, Takeuchi developed and launched the first tracked compact rubber loader. Takeuchi compact excavators and track loaders have earned wide international recognition for their ability to withstand very demanding operating conditions.
